Our cars – the love of the experts
An exhibition of cars that the museum's own people own – and love.
The curators at the Sommer Automobile Museum have several hundred cars in total. We have handpicked 21 of them for this very special exhibition. Here you can experience everything from vintage cars from 1903 to classics from 2006.
These are not just cars – they are cars with stories. And not least: cars with emotions. Each car comes with its own story – about the model, about the car's life and about the person who has taken care of it.
We don't just show cars. We show the love for them.
Special exhibitions:
Sommer's Automobile Museum is a living museum where large special exhibitions are held. In the winter semester, a large special exhibition with a recurring theme is arranged.
A group of museum curators is responsible for finding the right cars and making arrangements with the owners that the museum can borrow the cars. Special catalogues are created for the special exhibitions with stories about the cars and background to the exhibition.
